Career Center students attend Student Television Network conference in Orlando

Broadcast Journalism instructor, Joe Wittman took three students to Orlando, Florida for the 2014 Student Television Network convention. While there, they created a short video titled "The Big Squeeze" to showcase their filmmaking skills.They competed against  students from 100 schools across the nation and although they did not place in the top three, their marks from the judges were high. They encountered real industry experience while succeeding in an extreme deadline competition. Participating were Rock Bridge juniors, Evann Twitchell and Hunter Hughes and Battle junior, Taj Butler. Mr. Wittman praised their eye for filmmaking especially considering two of three  were first year Broadcast Journalism students.
