State Rep Stephen Webber presents Proclaimation to Cause an Effect

Missouri State Representative Stephen Webber visited Columbia Area Career Center on March 20 to personally commend David Hopkins and his students for the development of Cause an Effect, a community service program that refurbishes donated computers and distributes them to community members and local organizations in need of a computer. As a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, the students are able to install Microsoft Office into all the refurbished computers. The students involved in Cause an Effect are,senior Andrew Krall, juniors Vyacheslav Sidorov and Grant Powell; sophomores Dave Chen and Matt Elliott and freshman Hasadiah Miner. Parents and administrators were invited to watch as Representative Webber commended the students and awarded them with the Proclaimation.
