CACC students compete in CyberPatriot Competition

Congratulations to the team of  Michael Vu, Carson Vance, Fred Luetkemeier-Rock Bridge juniors, Justus Palmer, Rock Bridge freshman, and Nishant Sinha, Rock Bridge senior, for being the Missouri state champions in the CyberPatriot Open Division competition. CyberPatriot is a national high school cyber defense competition designed to give hands-on exposure to the foundations of cybersecurity. Created by the Air Force Association to excite high school students about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, CyberPatriot teaches defensive means of fixing online vulnerabilities and hardening systems to cyberattack. The team is coached by CACC instructor, David Hopkins.
This is the 1st year CACC students have participated in the event which is in its sixth year of existence.
