Congratulations to Ryan
Wood for completing the testing necessary to become licensed as an EMT in the
State of Missouri. Ryan, a 2013 Hickman
graduate, completed Emergency Medical Technology coursework in Bobby Horn’s EMT
class last year. Ryan is a freshman at College of the Ozarks.
Since the program's inception in 2011, Ryan is only the second student
to receive his EMT certification through CACC’s EMT secondary program. The
requirements to become licensed in Missouri include being 18 years or older, completion of an approved EMT course, and certification from the National Registry of EMT's.
