Marketing Student awarded DECA State Scholarship

Congratulations to Rock Bridge senior, Trent Powell, recipient of the $1,000  Lester B. Kesterson scholarship, awarded to a Missouri DECA member interested in pursuing marketing or management in college. Selection criteria is based on DECA membership, school and community involvement, volunteer service, educational plans, high school transcript, ACT scores, an essay stating what benefits were derived from DECA participation and a letter of recommendation.

Trent will be attending the University of Missouri to study business finance and has also been accepted into the Cornell Leadership Program in the Trulaske College of Business.
